No talks unless Pakistan stops triggering violence in ; tells UN

, March 14 (KIP):- India has conveyed to the UN secretary General that his mediation will not serve the purpose so long Pakistani forces resort to ceasefire violations. New Delhi has also conveyed to the US and the UN that Islamabad continues to use the soil of Pakistan for exporting terror to India which is indicated by pushing groups of militants under the cover of fire into Jammu and Kashmir.

New Delhi had earlier snubbed the UN chief for his desire to mediate on Kashmir. India has made it clear that there cannot be any possibility of reopening channels of dialogue with Pakistan so long Islamabad and its forces continue to provide arms training to militants in over 40 camps that have been established in Pakistan and occupied Kashmir

It has cited the latest ceasefire violation in Poonch where civilian houses were targeted. Pakistani troops  have violated the truce pact by targeting forward posts, LoC Trade Centre and civilian areas in Poonch district. The Indian Army also retaliated effectively.

Pakistan troops resorted to unprovoked firing in the Gulpur and Krishna Ghati sectors of Poonch district on Sunday morning.  “Violating the ceasefire, the Pakistani troops targeted forward posts along the LoC in the Gulpur sector with mortars and small arms fire . There was also a report of ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops in the Krishna Ghati sector.

The Indian troops guarding the LoC retaliated, which forced the Pak gunners to stop firing.

“The Pakistani troops fired 82 mm and 120 mm mortar bombs on the LoC Trade Centre at Chakan da Bagh, targeting its administrative block. Over five shells were fired on the trade centre,“The compound wall of the administrative block has been badly damaged,

India has conveyed to the UN that  Under these circumstances New Delhi will not accept any third country's mediation or intervention including that of the UN.(KIP)
