Grenade thrown on police party

SRINAGAR: Unidentified militants today hurled a grenade at a police party on the outskirts of Srinagar but there were no casualties, police said.

A grenade was hurled on police checking party at Narbal Crossing, in the jurisdiction of police station Parimpora, a police official said.

He said the grenade exploded on the road side without any harm to anyone.
